If you haven’t noticed already, we have recruited a new beauty therapist!

Sindra has an extensive background in beauty therapy. She has worked with Aggie Greys Resort and Mapu-Mai Spa for a number of years. Her dedication and determination in the field has proven her to be an efficient and hard working employee.

Here is a short interview of her:

  1. What is your full name?

2. Why did you choose working as a beauty therapist?

I like to feel that I’m helping others ensure their self confidence and provide relaxation treatments for those who need it.

3. What is your favourite treatment and why?

The reason being is that I love seeing my clients leave happier then when they came in. Making a difference in someone’s life is a blessing for me.

4. What do you like to do on your free time?

I love to hang out with my friends, spend time with my baby girl, read my bible, and sing while cleaning. Lastly, I like to just relax as work and life can be a bit busy, I find myself just meditating in my room and taking a nap.

5. What is your favourite hobby?

I love to sing and dance.

6. Give us one quote, you always live by?

Live life to the fullest.

7. If you had any super power in the world what would it be?

My super power would be to a MIND READER! In this field, reading minds would let me know if my clients are satisfied with the treatment.

What's new?

A few things!

First, Ninette, our Spa Manager, gave birth to two healthy baby boys! The twins were delivered right after Cyclone Evan, proving to the world that they are strong enough to survive any cyclone.

Second, our Administration Manager gave birth to a healthy baby boy last week

And last but not the least our precious Vyvonne will be expecting another baby boy!!

It’s just a season of baby boys and we’re so proud to be a growing family!

On the business side of things, we’ve learned a new skill!

We’re finally offering GEL NAIL POLISH! This polish is much thicker, shinier, and smoother than the original nail polish. The best part is that it lasts 2X times longer!! Guaranteed! So this time when you’re doing your laundry, washing dishes, scrubbing your house, or gardening, just know that this nail polish is sure to stay.

Also, stay in tune for our February Specials as Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. If you’re trying to find a gift for that special loved one, come in and purchase a gift voucher for any treatment of their choice. It’ll sure be a day they’ll never forget.

Come in the Spa and try out our Gel Nail Polish! If you're lucky you'll get to meet our handsome baby boys.

Happy New Years!!

The year is 2013 and we've been working hard to start the brand new year with a BANG- and we DID!

Finishing the year 2012 was a bit tough as Samoa, along with many other Pacific Island Nations, faced Cyclone Evan. Some lost their lives, many were displaced, and others watched their homes get washed away. The devastating cyclone affected Samoa greatly; however, in a matter of a few days Samoa managed to start recovery after a huge blow. To this day, Samoa is still recovering, rebuilding, and moving forward.

As for the Spa-we were flooded in with mud up to 2 inches above the floor. Two days after the Cyclone, we all came together to help clean, scrub, and repaint our walls so that we can respond quickly to our clients who were calling in.

Thankfully we are servicing all our treatments and have been operating properly since the Cyclone.

So on behalf of the Misiluki Day Management we would like to invite you to our (newly painted) Spa, so you can witness our hard work!

Call in and book today for an appointment.

We hope to see you all soon!

In a matter of a few days, Samoa will be pulling out their Christmas decorations from their storages, dusting ornaments, shaking off Christmas tree leaves, and hoisting up Christmas lights. Although it’s not yet December, Samoa –like the rest of the world- knows that its tis the season to be jolly so why not start early?

Christmas is one of Samoa’s biggest celebrations. For the most part, Samoans revere the holiday not so much for Santa Claus, but more for the birth of Jesus Christ. This makes Christmas such a widely known and celebrated Holiday in Samoa due to its religious significance.

So what does this mean? This means for everyone to join the fun, gather with friends and family and help celebrate one of the world’s most anticipated Holiday-CHRISTMAS!

Santa Claus still might exist!
